Dave and Bo Parks build custom wood doors and windows. All doors and windows receive the same meticulous and superior craftsmanship.
Our main focus of door types is island style. This includes louver doors, glass screen doors, both flat doors and raised panel doors. As mentioned above, we also specialize in unique, “one of a kind” doors for any room.
Parks and Parks was established in North Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1980 by brothers William and Dave Parks. It now includes shops in both Hawaii and Bellingham, Washington. Originally inspired by Green and Green, the brothers set forth in creating a reputation for fine quality furniture, custom doors, windows, and cabinets on the gold coast of the Big Island. In 1991 Dave Parks moved to Bellingham where he established a second branch of the business. Due to the growing demand for custom door and window packages the brothers decided this would become the focus of their business. Working hand in hand they have furnished well over a hundred high-end homes from the Mauna Kea to Hualalai communities.
William’s son Bo in following his father’s footsteps worked side by side until opening his own shop in 2004. The three shops working together had many productive years. In 2009 William passed away leaving a lifetime of lessons and passion for the craft to his son.
Bo and Dave continue to run their owner operated shops in working together with contractors, architects, and private homeowners helping them create custom hand crafted doors and windows to suit any taste.
